The Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly today re-elected Hon. Benjamin Oklah as the Presiding Member for the third time.

He secured 20 votes, representing 100% out of 20 total votes cast in an exercise supervised by officials of the Electoral Commission (EC) in pursuant to Section (3) of the Local Government Act, 2016 (936).

Hon. Oklah thanked the Assembly members for their unwavering trust and confidence in him for the third time after being sworn in.

He vowed to provide inclusive leadership and to get all stakeholders on board to achieve the desired development in the Municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Assembly, Hon. Sandra Owusu-Ahinkorah together with the Assembly members took turns to congratulate the elected Presiding Member and promised a serene environment to work together to achieve remarkable results in the Municipality.
