Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan holds an EMBA Marketing from the University of Ghana Business School. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Entrepreneurship from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

She is the owner of Lymens Medical Supplies Limited, a wholesale pharmaceutical company in Ghana. A company she established at age 24.

She is a board member of Minerals Commission, Ghana.

She is a member of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Health, Parliament House of Ghana.

Before Hon Lydia became MP, she was:

• The Vice Chairperson of Pharmaceutical Importers and Wholesalers Association of Ghana.
• An executive member of Chamber of Pharmacy Ghana.
• A Treasurer of women fellowship, Accra Ridge Church, Spintex Branch.
• Was the regional chairperson (southern sector), of Lions Club Ghana from 2014 to 2015
• Was also President for Accra Premier Lions Club from 2005 to 2016.
• Hon Lydia had the Woman of Excellence award 2017 from Ghana Parma Awards.

She is also a Mother to many.

Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan is a Member of Parliament of Ghana representing the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.
