Hon. Sandra Owusu Ahinkorah is the first Municipal Chief Executive of the Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly with over l8years working experience in managerial positions within the public and private sector both home and abroad.

Prior to her appointment as M.C.E., she was the Managing Director of Sandy Foods Limited as well as the Director of Sunny Coast Hotel (a 50-bed first class hotel at New Weija near the West Hills Mall). Hon. Sandra Owusu-Ahinkorah holds academic and professional qualifications in Hotel and Catering Management, Home Economics, Basic Nursing and Governance. With diverse backgrounds and competencies in Public Administration, Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Organizational Development as well as Project Planning and Coordination among many others.

She has been resident in the Ayawaso West Constituency for the past 25 years and very familiar with its rich resources, business prospects as well as the developmental challenges facing the various communities which constitute the new Municipality with its diverse demographics.

Hon. Sandra Owusu-Ahinkorah is married with three children.
