Today 11th June 2025 being marked as the date of commencing the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) the Municipal Chief Executive of the Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly, Honorable Dr. Micheal Mensah visited some Examination Centers within the Municipality namely University of Ghana Basic School, Dzorwulu JHS and Bethany Methodist School. This exercise was conducted with the support of the Education Director for Ayawaso West Municipality Madam Judith Ennin, and some Heads of the Assembly. This exercise was to enable the MCE and his team interact with the candidates as well as encourage them.
The Ayawaso West Municipality recorded One Thousand Four Hundred and Forty Five (1,445) as BECE candidates of both 38 public and private schools who would be sitting for the BECE in six (6) centers within the Municipality.
Addressing the students, the Municipal Chief Executive Officer, Honorable Dr. Micheal Mensah advised the candidates to study hard as well as urged them to ensure they pass their exams to enable them get their preferred choice of schools which would in turn affect their future. Also, Madam Judith Ennin, the Education Director for Ayawaso West Municipality added that she is confident the candidates would excel because they have been well prepared.
